Ticketing

In this view, we can work on everything related to Tickets sales.

Ticket Types

Ticket Types are the classes of tickets that can be sold. E.g.: Single Ticket, 10-ride Pass, Student Pass, etc.

In this section, we can create, edit, and delete the Ticket Types that the Agency accepts.

Create Ticket Type

In the Ticket Type view, we will see a list of Ticket Types already entered and can also generate new types.

To create new Ticket Types, follow these steps:

Edit / Delete Ticket Type:

In the general Ticket Type view, for each Type in the list, click the Pencil icon to access the Edit Ticket Type view. In this view, we can Edit the characteristics of the Ticket Type or Delete it by clicking the Delete Ticket Type button.

Tickets

This view adds the Tickets in circulation and is where we add a special code. The special code is what differentiates a Personal Ticket, as it links the Ticket to the User.

Create Tickets

We can manually add Tickets by following these steps:

Add Tickets via CSV

If we have a CSV file with a list of Tickets, we can automatically add them by clicking the New Tickets button and then clicking Upload CSV Files . Select the file to upload and confirm.

The CSV file must be in "comma-separated" format, with each line formatted as follows:

Code, Ticket Type, Special Code, Expiration Date

After adding the CSV file, all the data will be uploaded into the app and can be completed if the CSV did not contain everything. Additional tickets can also be added manually or via another CSV file.

Finally, we can add the tickets by clicking the Save Tickets button.

Edit / Delete Tickets:

In the general Tickets view, we can see a list of the Tickets we have already created.

Blacklist of Tickets

When editing a Ticket, we will also see the Blacklist option. By checking the checkbox in the Blacklist column, we can add the ticket to this list.

A Ticket on the Blacklist is blocked. We can set an expiration date for the block by clicking the icon that will appear after activating the checkbox.

This option is recommended when the Ticket's security and/or use is compromised, such as in cases of theft, loss, or non-payment.

Recharge Types

In this view, we can Create, Edit, and Delete Recharge Types. Recharge Types refer to the behavior of Tickets when validated (cost of the ride, validity, etc.).

Create Recharge Type

In the general Recharge Type view, click on New Recharge Type .

Edit Recharge Type

To edit any already created Recharge Type, go to the general Recharge Type view and click the icon to edit.

We can modify the Recharge Ticket and add more Consumptions if needed.

We can also select Stops belonging to one or more Zones by expanding the list of Zones by clicking the button Zones . Finally, click the Save Group button.

Stop Map

From the general view of Stop Groups, by clicking the Map button, we can also access the Stop Map, where all the Stops, Zones, and Stop Groups we have created will be displayed, allowing us to identify them in a more visual way.

On the left side of the map view, we can see 3 tabs:

In any of the tabs, by clicking on any Stop, a window will appear with more information about it. From there, we can also reassign it to a new Stop Group using the Change Stop Group button.

In the general view of Stop Groups, we will also see a dropdown button Any Stop without Group that will indicate if there are any Stops not associated with any Group. This helps us identify them and add them to one, as it is necessary for the proper functioning of the Ticketing system that all Stops are assigned to a Stop Group.

Zones

From the Zones view, we can group Stops differently than in Stop Groups. Unlike Stop Groups, the same stop cannot belong to multiple Zones.

Create Zones

To create a new Zone, follow these steps:

Keep in mind that Zones can be created automatically when assigning a zone code to a Stop during Stop creation.

From the general view of Zones, by clicking the Map button, we can also access the Zone Map, where all the Zones and Stops we have created will be displayed, allowing us to identify them in a more visual way.
